All Servers getting Upgraded!

Scheduled for the end of July, Hosting Outfitters will be upgrading all servers. This major overhaul will also include a new datacenter and many improvements. Most noticeably to you will be the addition of a new mail server. This will allow HO to optimize this server for spam prevention, email delivery and much more. It will also take some of the mail load off of the other servers.

We are excited about this transition as should you. We are expecting minimal downtime during this event, however, some hiccups here and there is possible. Rest assured though, that we are doing everything we can to make this as painless as possible.

The new datacenter that HO will be using is called the Atlanta NAP, located in Atlanta, this is a Tier 1 premier datacenter. Being located in Atlanta will provide regional clients of Hosting Outfitters with supeerior speeds while maintaining the superior speeds HO currently has for other clients. The decision to go with the Atlanta NAP took HO quite some time and we are very excited about the decision and are looking forward to the transition.
